Our Services
Infant Care Ages 4 weeks to 24 months
Daisy Day Care specializes in infant childcare. We are always striving for the highest quality early childcare at all times. Infant care has to do more than look right — it has to feel right. You want to know your child is safe and well cared for. Our infant program is designed to offer a secure place with knowledgeable care providers who honor your family’s routine, and who know every day that we are not caring for any child, but the most important child — yours.
We offer Morning Enrichment programs Monday -Friday 8am-12pm. Enrichment opportunities include infant yoga, tai chi, ballet, music, balance and breath, and sound baths. Expert-informed policies; health, safety, and wellness built right into our curriculum; and safe spaces designed for learning and exploration. Availability is limited to 4 infants at a time, so contact us today to learn more and schedule a tour!
Infant & Newborn Transition Support
In-home support for families welcoming a new baby
Welcoming a newborn is a profound transition — emotionally, physically, and logistically. For many families, the early months bring joy alongside exhaustion, uncertainty, and a steep learning curve.
For infants who are too young to begin group care, Daisy Trails offers short-term, in-home infant transition supportgrounded in nearly three decades of experience in infant and early childhood care.
This service is designed to support both baby and parents as routines take shape and confidence grows.
Who This Support Is For and What It Includes
This program is a good fit for families with newborns or young infants who are navigating early sleep, feeding, or regulation challenges; who want knowledgeable, calm support without judgment; who are interested in early toileting awareness or elimination communication; who plan to enroll in our infant program in the coming months; or who do not have extended family nearby. Families who value rhythm, routine, and relationship-based care tend to find this support especially helpful.
Support is personalized and may include calm, attentive infant care during developmental transitions; help establishing predictable daily rhythms; guidance around sleep, feeding, and play transitions; gentle introduction to elimination communication when appropriate; reassurance and practical support for parents; and thoughtful transition planning for future group care, including alignment with our morning infant program. Emergency hourly care/assistance is available for families enrolled in our Infant support program.
Structure, Experience, and Enrollment
Support is offered, scheduled in advance, and is time-limited (typically 8–12 weeks). Availability is intentionally limited to 2–3 families at a time to ensure consistency and reliability.
This service is led by Harmony Shreve, with over 28 years of experience in infant and early childhood care, formal education in Early Childhood Education and Human Development, and ongoing professional development in infant development and outdoor education. Care is grounded in respect for infant development, relationship-based practice, predictable routines, and gentle guidance rather than rigid rules.
Infant transition support is offered as a monthly program, not hourly care. Typical investment ranges from $600–$1,800 per month, depending on level of support and scheduling needs. Participation does not guarantee future enrollment, but it supports a smoother, more connected transition. *Deposits are required to secure future enrollment in other programs.
Because this is highly personalized support, availability is limited. Families interested in learning more are invited to reach out to schedule a brief conversation.

Toddlers Ages 2 to 4 Years
The toddler years are a time of rapid physical growth, curiosity, and emerging independence. Our afternoon toddler program is designed to support this stage through movement-rich, outdoor learning in a small-group setting.
Children in this program spend their afternoons outdoors engaging in active play, nature exploration, and physical skill-building. Throughout the year, the program includes hiking, balance work, strength-building, and coordination activities that prepare children for confident movement in natural environments.
During the winter months, children are introduced to age-appropriate skiing and snow-based movement, with a focus on balance, body awareness, and enjoyment rather than performance. Outside of winter, the program emphasizes ski preparation, including balance, climbing, endurance, and coordination through hiking and outdoor play.
This program is best suited for toddlers who are potty trained or actively working toward independence and comfortable spending extended time outdoors in varying weather conditions.
