Weekday Nature Program
Ages 18 Months & Up
At Daisy Trails, childhood is meant to be experienced outdoors.
Our full-day program blends nature-based learning, child-led exploration, and responsive early childhood education in a calm, screen-free environment where children have the freedom to move, discover, and grow.
Each day is thoughtfully balanced with outdoor adventures, creative play, practical life experiences, music and movement, nutritious meals, quiet rest, and opportunities for meaningful social connections.
Children spend much of their day exploring the forests, meadows, beaches, and trails of Incline Village. Hiking, climbing, creek exploration, wildlife observation, loose-parts play, and seasonal projects encourage confidence, resilience, curiosity, and a lifelong love of nature.
Our curriculum follows children’s interests while supporting every area of development through hands-on experiences that build:
- Physical strength, balance, and coordination
- Language and communication
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Emotional regulation and resilience
- Independence and self-confidence
- Social skills and cooperation
- Creativity and imagination
The changing seasons become our classroom. In winter, children enjoy snow exploration and ski-readiness activities. During warmer months, they investigate creeks, forests, insects, plants, and wildlife while developing respect for the natural world.
Because we intentionally keep enrollment small, every child is deeply known and cared for as an individual. We believe strong relationships create the foundation for confident learners.

In-Home Infant Care
Birth–18 Months
For families with babies who are not yet ready for group care, Daisy Trails offers limited in-home infant care in the comfort of your own home.
This service provides experienced, dependable care for infants while allowing families flexibility during the earliest months of parenthood.
Care is available only outside of our weekday program hours and is scheduled based on availability.

Rate
$60 per hour
Two-hour minimum
What We Provide
Our in-home visits may include:
- Loving, attentive infant care
- Bottle feeding and soothing
- Age-appropriate play and interaction
- Bedtime routines
- Parent respite
- Support during appointments or evening commitments
With over 30 years of experience caring for infants and young children, Harmony provides calm, responsive care that respects each baby’s individual needs and family routines.

Enrichment Classes
Every week our kids have access to 8+ enrichment classes. We are currently offering dance, tai chi, breath and balance, yoga, music and paint and sippy cup.
- Drop in Enrichment classes are $15 per class with parent participation.

Meals $15 per day
Forest Adventures
Wednesday Forest Club | Ages 3+
Our Wednesday Forest Club is designed for children who are ready for more independent outdoor adventures after preschool or homeschool.
Children build confidence through hiking, nature exploration, creative projects, cooperative games, and seasonal outdoor activities. Every session encourages resilience, problem-solving, leadership, and a lifelong connection to the natural world.
Our small group allows children to develop meaningful friendships while exploring the forests, creeks, and trails of Lake Tahoe.

$50 per session
Registration required.
Deposits are required to enroll in Weekday care
Deposits are applied to the final month of care. 30 days notice is required in writing. We never prorate deposits or monthly fees. Deposits are required to hold your child’s space and are NOT refundable for any reason.
To assist with tuition costs, we accept The Children’s Cabinet subsidy and Scholarships are available.
